Core Network Implementation:

Data Center Infrastructure Builds

Managing 3rd party builds, Coordinate OSP work (fiber pulls through conduits, etc) as well as coordinating any ISP work; Requesting rack, space, and power assignments; BFBD and AC/DC power.

 

Ethernet Transport:

·         Design, order, and oversee installation of 1G & 10G Ethernet private lines, primarily EOS (1G), and Ethernet (10G LAN-PHY) over WDM.

 

Optical ATM backbone Project-

·         Create design and order long haul DS3, OC3, and OC12 circuits and facilities through IXC, LEC, CLEC, ILEC via web based ordering systems such as WOS (BellSouth), QORA(Qwest), Prime Access (SBC), CSG (Verizon).

·         Creating and assigning work orders in Remedy & Homer.

·         Project Managed the design, provisioning, installation, and test and turn up of DS3, OC3C, and OC12 facilities. Including fiber terminations in dacs & FDP’s and overseeing ducting & fiber installation jobs.  This included working with regional, market, and switch personnel.

·         Use Granite/Xpercom to create and update circuit records and documentation.

·         Provisioned facilities and entered cross connects in the Alcatel 1631, 1677, and GEM 1353 digital cross connect systems via TL1 command. Also provisioned via React.
